Alderman-Dow will supply permanent or temporary bins for your shop or job site.

Available in several sizes, bins are a great way to store and sort your wire and metal until pickup.

When ready for pickup, call or email us. We will come by with replacement bins and weigh your scrap material on-site. A scale ticket can be left with job foreman and money can be delivered elsewhere, or we can pay at time of pickup.

All electrical wire has different copper content. Wire is bought based on its copper percentage and should be sorted accordingly. For example:
- Extension cords run 38% copper
- THHN can run 75% copper.
If you are not sorting your wire, you’re giving money to the scrapyard!
